Dr. Greg Frishman was born and raised in Pinecrest and Coral Gables. He attained his Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science at the University of Florida, and then earned his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University.

After receiving his Doctorate, Dr. Frishman moved back to Miami and completed his Small Animal internship at Hollywood Animal Hospital. Through his intensive training and experience, Dr. Frishman has developed a philosophy that he feels is critical to providing optimal animal care: understanding the relationship between a pet and its owner in order to make the most practical medical decisions and user-friendly, preventative health care plans.

As a child, Dr. Frishman and his family brought their pets to South Dade Animal Hospital for the best in veterinary care. Today, Dr. Frishman and his staff are proud to keep this tradition alive in the very same neighborhood and animal hospital that he utilized while growing up.

Dr. Frishman and his staff have strived to create a family-oriented practice where you and your pet’s health is a first priority. At SDAH, it is our mission to provide compassion, quality care and ethics in a state-of-the art veterinary hospital, to ensure that you and your pets will live a long, happy and healthy life together.

Dr. Frishman welcomes any questions or concerns you may have about your pet’s health and well being, and is available for appointments Monday through Friday.
